About Us

Like many of us in the Upper Peninsula, I grew up in its woods as a real

"Yooper-kid" enjoying the great UP life. In high school, I was an artist and musician, always having an "eye" for details. After high school I moved to Boston, then to New York City to study and play music, while working in fine dining restaurants. I moved back home to the beautiful Upper Peninsula in 2008 to be near family and friends. It wasn't long before I was designing kitchens and eventually lead the team at a local kitchen business. While designing in a showroom setting, I always thought a simpler process was needed... one that offered convenience and budget-friendly options for our customers. I decided to head out on my own and offer simple and more affordable ways of designing kitchens. Our initial consultation is always an in-home visit, vs a showroom visit, which allows us an opportunity to see your space and hear your thoughts and explore all your ideas about your new kitchen. With 14+ years of design experience and somewhere in the neighborhood of four-hundred kitchens designed and sold, I know we'll have lots of fun creating your new dream kitchen!
